Role Description The Relationship Development Associate is a full-time team member responsible for supporting the growth of client relationships and new business opportunities in Charlottesville, VA. In this hybrid role, the associate will spend part of their time in the office and part working from home, conducting outreach to prospective clients, nurturing existing relationships, and coordinating meetings for advisors. Day-to-day activities include researching potential clients and centers of influence, assisting with fundraising and business development initiatives, preparing communications and presentations, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and tracking systems. The associate will collaborate closely with advisors and internal teams to ensure a consistent client experience, support marketing and networking efforts, and uphold compliance and privacy standards in all interactions.\n

- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a client-focused mindset, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Comfort with CRM tools, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and basic digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Charlottesville, VA, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Relevant education in business, finance, communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience in relationship-focused roles.
- Prior experience in financial services, sales, nonprofit development, or customer relationship management is beneficial but not required.
