Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address mental health issues.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
- Facilitate workshops and educational sessions on mental wellness.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the counseling field.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Professional Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- Valid state licensure (LPC, LCSW, etc.) to practice counseling.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a counseling setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and varying mental health issues.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a client-focused approach.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
