Job Summary:This role offers a unique opportunity to apply advanced data science skills at the intersection of healthcare, AI ethics, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will work across legal, compliance, and AI teams to ensure responsible and ethical AI development, particularly in Generative AI and traditional machine learning systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and AI teams to address AI methods and responsible practices
- Document testing findings, create detailed reports, and deliver presentations to stakeholders
- Design and develop job aids and documentation for responsible AI best practices
- Develop Python scripts to automate AI/ML testing and analyze output
- Identify vulnerabilities such as PII/PHI exposure in AI interactions
- Maintain and improve test data sets and testing methodologies
- Stay current with AI/ML research and integrate applicable advancements
- Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning
- Assist in designing and executing red team testing for conversational AI systems
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or similar field
- 3+ years of experience across ML system development, deployment, and maintenance lifecycle
- 3+ years of hands-on work with advanced NLP models and methodologies
- Strong experience in Python, including scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy
- Deep understanding of AI ethics, fairness, and responsible model development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with healthcare systems such as claims processing, call centers, or healthcare analytics
- Experience translating business requirements into technical AI/ML solutions
- Proven cross-functional collaboration skills with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders
- Experience with conversational AI or large language models (LLMs)
- Understanding of prompt engineering and adversarial testing methodologies
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) relevant to AI in healthcare
- Basic knowledge of information security principles
