Community Access Services is looking for dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving independence and inclusion in their communities. Key Responsibilities of a Direct Support Professional:

  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, toileting, and dressing
  • Support with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs
  • Help maintain a clean and safe living environment, including basic housekeeping tasks
  • Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed
  • Follow individual support plans (ISPs) and behavior support strategies
  • Administer medications and document according to guidelines (training provided)
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with the individuals you serve


What We’re Looking for in a Direct Support Professional:

  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required – we provide training!
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to become a company driver
  • Ability to pass a national background check
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
