Purpose
Dividia provides security solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This includes Alarm, Surveillance, Intercom, and Access Control systems. Our core business is built around a leading-edge NVR platform for the surveillance industry. This position will support our North Texas customer base by installing and servicing security systems.The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have a strong understanding and experience with ACCESS CONTROL HARDWARE, ELECTRONIC LOCKING SYSTEMS AND DOOR-RELATED COMPONENTS
THIS IS A FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN POSITION.
Duties
- Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders, diagnosing faulty equipment/wiring, conducting tests, and resolving issues.
- Install new systems by reviewing project scope, mounting and wiring devices, and completing acceptance tests.
- Maintain rapport with customers by examining problems, recommending solutions, and proposing system improvements.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and service electric strikes, magnetic locks, request-to-exit devices, and door position switches.
- Interpret wiring diagrams and access control system schematics.
- This is a physically demanding and often outdoor position. Candidates must be comfortable working independently for extended periods.
- Travel may be required up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
Preferred Experience
- Access control systems (hardware and software)
- Electronic locks, maglocks, strikes, REX, door hardware, and low voltage wiring
- Locksmithing background or experience with mechanical/electronic door components
- Electronics troubleshooting, reading site maps, maintaining client relationships
- Quality focus and results-driven mindset
- Experience with brands such as HID, Mercury, HES, or similar is a plus
