IT Supervisor/Senior IT Specialist

Job DescriptionSalary: $115,000 - $130,000 annually
Renewable energy is growing at a rapid pace, and we need your expertise! Nor-Cal Controls engineers SCADA and controls solutions for utility-scale renewable energy power plants, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and microgrids, and we are looking for an IT Supervisor to join our talented team! As the IT Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our internal IT team while performing hands-on work with maintaining operating systems, hardware, middleware, databases, and related software. The hiring salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 annually.* This role is open to in-office and hybrid work options.

What will a successful IT Supervisor accomplish in the first 90 days?
- Become familiarized with Nor-Cal's technology stack and IT processes.
- Develop a successful working relationship with IT team that aligns with our Core Values
- Collaborate with the IT/OT Manager to define data-management strategies in line with customer requirements and regulations.
Preferred Position Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, other relevant degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10 years of progressive experience in systems and network administration
- 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity within an IT environment
- Hands-on with public cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS) and hybrid cloud architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals: vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and incident response.
