Job DescriptionVolt is immediately hiring for a Quality Technician: Electrical Inspection in Franklin, WI.



  • Direct hire, 1st shift flexible start times (5a, 6a, 7a for 8 hour days)



As a Quality Technician: Electrical Inspection you will:

  • Complete the final electrical steps and testing for fully completed assemblies.
  • Perform set-up inspections for diagnosing problem areas to ensure accuracy and quality of workmanship on a variety of labeling machines, retrofits, filler valves, glue mechs and aggregates.
  • Test functional electrical requirements on all assemblies or machinery.
  • Record test results as required.
  • Approve finished products for onward shipment to the market.
  • Troubleshoot and correct problem areas or work with assemblers to correct issues, i.e. programming, schematics, BOMs and other related areas.
  • Use your knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within electrical standards (NFPA, NEC, UL).
  • Ability to load electrical softwares (PLC, HMI).





This is a full-time Direct Hire opportunity.





The ideal candidate will have:

  • Preferred education: Associate degree in industrial automation or electronics.
  • Requires a working knowledge of precision electrical assembly techniques as well as basic mechanical principals.
  • Previous experience assembling/quality checking electrical panels or machine electrical systems is preferred.
  • 3-5 years working with PLCs and HMIs (troubleshooting connections, reading ladder logic. Programming is not necessary)
  • Must have the ability to use measuring devices, hand and power tools.
  • Must have the ability to read assembly drawings and electrical schematics.





Salary: $32 - $33 per hour + yearly bonus.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
