What You'll Do
- Lead with vision: Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Drive strategy: Define and implement development best practices, technical standards, and long-term architectural plans.
- Own delivery: Oversee project timelines, resource planning, and execution to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals.
- Innovate continuously: Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance team productivity and product capabilities.
- Grow talent: Support career development through coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Champion quality: Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability through reviews and process improvements.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of software development experience, including 1+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical background in:
- Shopify, Headless Stack, React, Node.js, Python, Java
- API development, Microservices architecture
- Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Proven ability to lead teams in an agile environment and deliver complex projects.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for mentoring and building inclusive, high-performing teams.
