\n **Zanesville, OH**
\n **13-Week Contract | Nights | 36 Guaranteed Hours**
\n We’re hiring an experienced **Observation/Med-Surg RN** for a travel assignment in Ohio!
\n 🔹 **Requirements:**
\n • Active **Ohio RN License**
\n • Minimum **3 years of recent/current Telemetry or Med-Surg experience**
\n • Current **BLS & ACLS**
\n • Strong Telemetry interpretation skills
\n • **Current EPIC proficiency is required**
\n • Must pass Telemetry/BCRA competency testing on Day 1
\n • Must be comfortable floating to Med-Surg units and, when appropriately skilled, the ED
\n 🔹 **Assignment Details:**
\n • **13-week contract**
\n • **Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM**
\n • **36 guaranteed hours/week**
\n • Every other weekend required
\n • Holiday coverage required
\n • Rare call requirement
\n • **EPIC EMR**
\n • W-2 employment only — **No 1099**
\n • Facility may cancel up to **36 hours during the 13-week contract**
\n 🔹 **Clinical Responsibilities:**
\n • Provide comprehensive care to observation patients
\n • Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans
\n • Monitor telemetry and recognize cardiac rhythm changes
\n • Administer medications and treatments safely
\n • Care for Med-Surg, respiratory, stroke, and cardiac patients when floated
\n • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
\n • Educate patients and families
\n • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
\n • Prioritize patient safety and quality of care
