Job DescriptionThis is a 1099 / contract position.
Compensation: $75.00 / hr - $85.00 / hr
Schedule: Ideal candidates will be able to hold classes on various days Monday through Friday. Preferred class times are 9:15am, 11:00am, 1:15pm, and 2:30pm, however we can be flexible to the schedule needs of our instructor as long as classes are within normal business hours of the facility.

The Role
As the Yoga Instructor at Alsana, you will serve as an integral part of the Adaptive Care Model Movement Program. Primary functions of this position are to support the integration and monitoring of movement in the residential, day and intensive outpatient treatment of adults with eating disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide education and knowledge for patients receiving treatment for eating disorders
- Develop group yoga plans for clients that align with treatment goals
- Collaborate with the treatment team throughout the development and integration of movement in to a client’s care
- Facilitate yoga groups
- Assist with care and cleaning of yoga and related movement equipment
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Certified Yoga Instructor or equivalent.
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to work productively in the context of a multi-disciplinary team, independently and as a member of a team
- Experience with or interest in eating disorders is preferred
- Thorough knowledge of current evidence-based practices and standards for movement programs
