Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and establish effective treatment strategies.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans centered around trauma recovery, leveraging evidence-based therapies like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and cultivate coping mechanisms.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each patient's needs.
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and heard.
- Educate patients and families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources to support ongoing recovery.

Qualifications\n

- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience providing mental health therapy with an emphasis on trauma recovery.
- A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and the ability to implement trauma-informed treatment modalities effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
