AV-rated employment defense firm, with offices in the Red Bank and Atlantic City areas is expanding its staff and seeking attorneys with 1-4 years and 5-8 years experience in labor/employment and/or commercial litigation, to join our growing practice. Candidates should have proven experience and the ability to handle cases from their inception and work independently. Candidates must have superior writing skills and strong research skills. Candidates must have experience in all aspects of litigation, including depositions, discovery, motion practice and court appearances.
Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with clients to provide day to day counseling regarding labor/employment related issues
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client needs.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the NJ state bar association is required; NY and PA are a plus.
- Proven experience in labor/employment and/or commercial litigation is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong skills in legal drafting and research are essential for success in this role.
