We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estate Planning & Probate Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in estate planning, probate, and guardianship/conservatorship matters. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong writing abilities, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and probate petitions for decedent's estates, guardianships, and conservatorships.

Manage attorney calendars and case deadlines, ensuring all court filings and appointments are timely.

Prepare files for all court hearings and motions.

Conduct legal research and assist with document review.

Open and maintain client files, ensuring all documents are accurately organized.

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in estate planning, probate, and guardianship/conservatorship.

Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Strong writing, proofreading, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage a high volume of cases and deadlines with excellent attention to detail.

Familiarity with litigation processes is a plus.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
