We need experienced (+5 years) resources (modern data engineering/data warehousing/ data lakes technologies on Fabric, or related cloud platforms) to help Microsoft Fabric onboard quickly.
· Fabric experience is preferred over other cloud platforms.
· Minimum 12 + years of proven experience with SQL, schema design and dimensional data modelling.
· Expert-level experience with Microsoft Fabric pipelines (Data Factory in Fabric), including building complex flows, ingestions, transformation, orchestration, scheduling and monitoring with activities (Copy, Dataflow Gen2, Notebook execution, etc.), triggers, parameters, and error handling.
· Integrate diverse data sources into OneLake and prepare data for analytics consumption (e.g., Lakehouse, Warehouse).
· Solid understanding of source control strategies in modern data platforms (Git for Fabric artifacts, branching models, pull requests, versioned deployments). Apply source control strategies using Git integration in Fabric workspaces, including branching, merging, CI/CD practices, and collaboration workflows.
· Hands-on experience with data integration patterns, ETL/ELT processes, and working in lake-centric environments (OneLake, Delta tables).
· Experience with Fabric-specific features: Data Factory, Synapse, Notebooks (Spark/PySpark/SQL)f and pipeline deployment
· Knowledge of additional tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub for CI/CD, SQL, Python for transformations.
· Familiarity with Azure ecosystem concepts (e.g., Azure Data Factory patterns that translate to Fabric, storage, security).
· Ensure data quality, governance, security and performance optimization across pipelines and reports.
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in building production-grade solutions.
· Displays strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern data architecture principles and technology modernization.
· Collaborate with stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions
