Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment and operations of applications, and enhancing system security. This role requires strong collaboration with development and operations teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency. Compensation: $120k - $140k base + quarterly profit sharing bonuses
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services
- Automate deployment processes and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time
- Implement security best practices across all stages of development and deployment
- Collaborate with software engineers and IT staff to deploy and manage applications
- Manage and configure networking components to ensure optimal performance
- Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code to provision and manage cloud resources
- Maintain and support Linux and Windows server environments
- Work with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes to manage application deployment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and architecture
- Experience with security protocols and practices in cloud environments
- Familiarity with database management, particularly Oracle
- Understanding of networking concepts and configurations
- Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure management
- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
