We are currently in search of a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to enhance our cancer care team. Ideal candidates will possess outstanding clinical abilities, a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, and an interest in engaging with various clinical trials available within our network. Applicants should hold or be eligible to obtain a medical license in Pennsylvania and be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Our compensation package is competitive and reflects the candidate's experience.
The selected candidate will work in a recently updated facility on the hospital campus, which provides cutting-edge medical oncology treatments and access to clinical trials. Physicians will be supported by an integrated, physician-led network of healthcare professionals. Collaborate with a skilled team of medical oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and additional support personnel. Enjoy a dynamic practice that encompasses both outpatient and inpatient medical consultations, chemotherapy, laboratory services, and supportive therapy visits. Patient care is delivered in both clinic and hospital settings from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities shared among colleagues.

About the Local Hospital:
This facility is a 118-bed licensed hospital that serves approximately 3,900 inpatients, over 140,000 outpatients, and nearly 18,000 emergency cases each year. The hospital features a range of medical/surgical beds, pediatric units, obstetric/gynecological beds, nursery cribs, an intensive coronary care unit, skilled nursing beds, and a neuropsychiatric service for adults, adolescents, and children with an 18-bed inpatient unit.
Additional services include medical oncology, a sleep lab, a dialysis center, a cardiac catheterization lab, a pain management program, occupational health services, and community education initiatives. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care, along with ancillary services such as radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary services, orthopedics, inpatient/outpatient substance use services, and hospice care.
