Position: Technical Support Specialist
Location: Onsite – Oklahoma City, OK
Contract Term: 6 months (possibility of extension)
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to computer system users in person, by phone, or remotely.
- Answer user inquiries related to software and hardware operation to resolve issues.
- Perform remote installations, testing, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Enter commands, monitor system performance, and detect or correct operational errors.
- Maintain detailed records of support activities, issues, and resolutions.
- Read technical manuals, perform diagnostics, and provide ongoing user support.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent technical training.
- 2–3 years of experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, and hardware components.
- Familiarity with configuration management, desktop communications, and operating system software.
