Overview
JST is currently seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager who will provide day-to-day oversight of all IT and cybersecurity contract support personnel and IT and cybersecurity program support services.
This is a full-time on-site position in Alexandira, VA. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Sr. Technical Program Manager Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technical programs supporting government requirements.
- Develop and manage program schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and technical deliverables.
- Serve as the primary interface with government customers, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and program goals.
- Oversee technical teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality performance and timely delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations, cybersecurity requirements, and program reporting standards.
- Provide program status updates, technical briefings, and recommendations to senior government leadership.
- Drive process improvements, technical innovation, and best practices within program execution.
- Mentor junior program managers and technical leads.
Sr. Technical Program Manager Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, information systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of eight years of experience in planning, directing, and managing complex IT projects and operations of a nature similar in size and scope as referenced under this TO.
- Possess one of the following certifications: Global Security Leadership Certification (GSLC), Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Sr. Technical Program Manager Desired Qualifications
- Possess a current PMI PMP certification or DAWIA Level III Program Management.
- A minimum of eight years of experience in leading projects involving compliance with the DoD CC SRG and the DoD RMF (e.g., DoDI 8510.01).
- A minimum of eight years of experience in Change Management and quality assurance concepts and guidelines, such as AGILE, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
Required Clearances and Screenings
- MUST possess a TS/SCI clearance
- MUST be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check
