BIM Project Manager — Mechanical Construction
Kodiak Recruiting is seeking a BIM Project Manager to manage BIM and VDC coordination for commercial mechanical construction projects. This position supports the process from model coordination and design review through fabrication, procurement, installation, and project completion. The successful candidate will be comfortable leading meetings, managing deadlines, reviewing models, resolving coordination issues, and working with office and field teams.
Compensation:
Salary $110,000–$145,000

Responsibilities
- Manage BIM coordination for multiple mechanical projects
- Maintain coordination schedules and track deliverables
- Lead clash detection and constructability reviews
- Coordinate HVAC, ductwork, piping, plumbing, and other MEP systems
- Review Revit models and shop drawings
- Track RFIs, constraints, decisions, approvals, and action items
- Coordinate BIM staff and project priorities
- Lead meetings with PMs, engineers, clients, subcontractors, and field leaders
- Ensure deliverables meet schedule and client requirements
- Support BIM process improvements and team development
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of BIM, VDC, MEP coordination, or mechanical construction experience
- Advanced Revit proficiency
- Navisworks, BIM 360, or Autodesk Construction Cloud experience
- Understanding of mechanical systems and field installation
- Strong communication, organization, and project-management skills
- Experience with prefabrication or fabrication drawings preferred
- Complex commercial project experience preferred
