Job DescriptionCodeworks, a LRS company is a locally owned and operated IT Services firm in SE Wisconsin, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships. Our client located in Auburn Hills, MI is looking to bring aboard a Technical Architect for Test Automation to join their team on a long term contract basis. This individual will strategic and technically proficient Test Automation Architect to lead the design and implementation of intelligent, scalable test automation frameworks. This role is pivotal in modernizing our testing infrastructure to support high-performance and eliminate manual efforts.The ideal candidate will have professional experience the following skills:
- QA Years of Experience: 10+
- QA Automation Years of Experience: Atleast 8
- Design and implement enterprise-wide test automation frameworks using AI-assisted tools
- Expertise in automating AI system testing is mandatory
- Architect cloud-native testing infrastructures for distributed and microservice-based systems
- Establish testing standards, governance models, and best practices
- Implement intelligent test data management and synthetic data generation
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; coding using groovy scripts to configure the test execution jobs
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); Exposure to Kubernetes/ docker microservice is a necessity
- Guide teams in adopting modern testing tools and practices
- Hands-on experience in API integration test automation. Should be able to develop and enhance automation (Java, Junit/TestNg, Cucumber, etc.)
- A Vital technical tester with exposure working in large enterprise-class applications
- Good exploratory testing skills by understanding related domains, architecture, and requirements.
- Should be passionate about quality engineering and keen on continuous improvement across processes, products, and technology.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting issues in Linux environments
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders with proactive and robust communication skills.
- Knowledge of Performance testing (Jmeter or LR) and exposure to Security testing is a plus.
- Hands-0n experience in UI automation using Selenium, Maven, Java and Cucumber technologies are required to design and develop UI test automation suites on demand.
Preferred Experience:
- Working experience in Agile development processes
- Previous experience working with/for a large, complex, global organization
- Experience in the automotive industry and automotive connectivity
- Previous experience with large-scale cloud solutions, preferably built on AWS
- Handson experience with LLMassisted

Codeworks discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $53.00 and $58.00. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
