Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role (with reasonable remote flexibility) for an Associate Attorney located in an employment law focused practice located in Houston, Texas (midtown area). The Attorney will handle multifaceted legal responsibilities including conducting comprehensive legal research, motion practice, briefing, discovery, courtroom appearances, and client contact specializing in labor and employment law matters. The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment while providing quality legal support to clients.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Law and Labor and Employment Law
- Experience in providing accurate and reliable Legal Advice
- Strong Research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal documentation
- Proficiency in Negotiation and conflict resolution
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.), along with an active license to practice law in Texas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with clients and team members
- Experience in litigation and case management is a plus
