Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing off-road heavy machinery, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including Excavators, Dozers, Skid Steers and other heavy equipment.
- Conduct diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Assemble and disassemble various components of heavy machinery as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair multiple systems and components.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients regarding their equipment needs and repair status.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on machinery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems including engines, transmissions, hydraulic system and more
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in Diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment maintenance are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
