Location: New York (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $75,000 - $180,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
About the Opportunity
A well-established and growing plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with at least one year of litigation experience who is eager to develop as a trial lawyer.
The firm offers hands-on mentorship, significant courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to gain extensive litigation experience while working alongside experienced trial attorneys. The ideal candidate is hardworking, adaptable, detail-oriented, and willing to put in the time necessary to build a successful litigation career.
Responsibilities

Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

Prepare and respond to discovery requests.

Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.

Meet with clients and assist with case strategy.

Prepare for and conduct depositions.

Draft and argue motions.

Assist with trial preparation and attend trials as needed.

Manage cases from inception through resolution.

Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals while handling matters independently.
Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school.

Active New York Bar license required.

Minimum 1 year of litigation experience.

Admission to Federal Court is a plus.

Experience with NYSCEF, eCourts/E-Law, and PACER is preferred.

Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
