Job DescriptionAssociate and Managing Attorney positions open– Cocoa Beach, FL (Hybrid after 90 days) Join a Prestigious Firm with Outstanding Culture and Benefits A highly respected and well-known law firm in the Cocoa Beach, Florida area is seeking an Associate Attorney and Managing Attorney to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time position with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement after 90 days. The firm offers a supportive environment, robust benefits, and unique perks that reflect its exceptional work culture. ________________________________________ Position Overview: As an Attorney with our firm, you will play a key role in representing clients in debt collection and subrogation matters, managing cases from inception through resolution. The successful candidate will have courtroom experience and a solid understanding of debtor/creditor law. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and case management conferences
• Handle all aspects of litigation including case initiation, legal research, drafting pleadings, and trial prep
• Negotiate settlements and pursue legal remedies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of debt collection laws and compliance standards
• Supervise and support office staff as needed
• Collaborate with courts, opposing counsel, and other parties ________________________________________ Requirements:
• Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 1+ years of experience in debt collection or subrogation litigation
• Strong working knowledge of debtor and creditor rights
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently ________________________________________ Compensation & Benefits:
