Pierz Fabrication specializes in custom metal fabrication, welding, and repair work. We take pride in producing quality work for a variety of customers and industries. We are looking for an experienced, reliable welder who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and can take a project from start to finish.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on steel and other metals.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements.
- Fabricate custom metal products, frames, gates, brackets, and other components.
- Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and weld metal parts.
- Set up and operate welding equipment and fabrication tools.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper fit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work independently while meeting project deadlines.
- Identify problems and use good judgment to find practical solutions.
- Assist with a variety of custom fabrication and repair projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous welding and metal fabrication experience required.
- Strong MIG welding skills and knowledge of welding techniques.
- Ability to read measurements, follow drawings, and work with precision.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Able to troubleshoot problems and think on your feet.
- Commitment to producing quality work while maintaining efficiency.
- Ability to safely use shop equipment and tools.
- Aluminum welding experience is a plus.
