We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Solutions Architect & Sitecore Managed Services Lead to join our team located in the United States. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days a week in these locations: Alpharetta, GA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, Texas, or Boston, MA.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Soluitons Architect and Managed Services Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping and growing Perficient's Managed Services (MSO) practice. This role blends strategic client engagement, delivery oversight, and operational excellence. You will be a trusted advisor to clients and a key leader in building internal best practices, scalable processes, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Your focus will extend beyond account oversight, it will be helping evolve our MSO framework by driving proactive support models, identifying opportunities for operational enhancements, and ensuring high quality delivery across all engagements. Expertise in Sitecore is required, and familiarity with platforms like Optimizely or Acquia is highly valued.

The Solutions Architect may or may not have a programming background, but will have expert infrastructure architecture, client presales / presentation, team management and thought leadership skills. You will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs.

You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your leading edge solutions, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Engagement & Relationship Management
• Serve as engagement lead for managed services client helping build strong, trusted relationships.
• Lead roadmap planning, and QBRs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Act as a strategic partner and escalation point for both clients and delivery teams.
• Represent client needs internally to drive outcomes and improved service delivery.

Delivery Oversight & Operational Excellence
• Oversee managed services engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and best practices.
• Partner with the Director of MSO to improve delivery models, escalation handling, and support processes.
• Identify and implement operational efficiencies, standardizing frameworks and repeatable engagement patterns across accounts.
• Drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to monitoring, reporting, and service management.

MSO Leadership & Best Practices
• Contribute to the evolution of MSO playbooks, processes, and methodologies to ensure scalable and consistent service.
• Identify gaps in tools, documentation, or processes and recommend solutions to improve overall efficiency.
• Support internal initiatives to mature the MSO organization (e.g., onboarding templates, KPI dashboards, SLA refinement).

Team Leadership & Mentorship
• Mentor consultants and technical team members, developing their client engagement and platform expertise.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth across the managed services team.
• Partner with resource managers to ensure staffing aligns with client priorities and technical requirements.

Business Growth & Strategic Support
• Collaborate with sales and solution teams to identify opportunities for account expansion, renewals, and cross-selling.
• Participate in presales activities for proposals, solution, and scoping for projects
• Provide strategic input on service models, retention strategies, and service offerings

Technical & Platform Acumen
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of platform architecture, managed cloud environments, upgrades, and licensing.
• Advise clients on platform optimization, roadmap alignment, and emerging Sitecore capabilities.
• Stay informed on trends across Sitecore, composable DXPs, and SaaS models (e.g., XM Cloud).
• (Preferred) Leverage working knowledge of Optimizely or Acquia to support multi-platform engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 7 years of client-facing experience in a managed services or digital delivery environment.
  • Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight.
  • At least 5 enterprise level project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of Sitecore – is a MUST.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple accounts, resolve escalations, and drive client success.
  • Strong opertaional mindset with experience building or optimizing service delivery models.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Agency or consulting background with exposure to multi-client enterprise support models.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data informed task execution.
  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of AI capability and limitations including ethical consideration is expected.
  • Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices.
  • Proven track record of leadership roles delivering enterprise solutions within defined timeframes.
  • Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.
  • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
  • Ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams.
  • Desire to mentor younger team members and develop their skills.
  • Experience working on multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience leading internal initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Be independent and self-driven.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Must be open to travel.


Preferred Skills and Education:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Certification in Sitecore XM Cloud
  • Knowledge of composable architect, or multi-tenant environments
  • Experience with other DXPs such as Optimizely or Acquia.
  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and backlog refinement in a support context.
  • Previous involvement in QBR prepartion, client renewal planning, or strategic roadmap sessions.


The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $92,118.00 to $202,730.00. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
