Contract Specialist Supporting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
US Federal Solutions is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to support a high-visibility acquisition mission for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This role is ideal for a seasoned federal contracting professional who is comfortable managing the full acquisition lifecycle and working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
You will play a key role in supporting law enforcement programs by ensuring acquisitions are executed accurately, securely, and in full compliance with federal procurement regulations.
What You’ll Do
As a Contract Specialist supporting ICE, you will provide cradle-to-grave acquisition support across a wide range of contracting actions. Responsibilities include:
- Independently preparing, briefing, routing, and obtaining approvals for acquisition documents, including acquisition plans, solicitations, awards, justifications to limit competition, and combined synopsis/solicitations
- DHS Suitability/DHS EOD
- Interpreting and applying the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific procurement policies
- Supporting contracting actions using FAR Parts 8, 12, 13, 15, and 16, including BPAs and Indefinite Delivery vehicles
- Supporting federal-wide and multi-agency contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, OASIS+, and DHS strategic sourcing solutions
- Developing pre-negotiation positions, analyzing proposed cost elements, and supporting cost and price evaluations
- Preparing documentation to establish competitive ranges, support source selections, respond to protests, and complete required acquisition reviews
- Using government contract-writing systems and databases such as PRISM, FPDS, and SAM.gov
- Reviewing and maintaining procurement documentation and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office tools
- Safeguarding procurement-sensitive, law enforcement sensitive, and other secure information, while adhering to OPSEC requirements
- Communicating clearly and professionally with contracting officers, program offices, and stakeholders

Requirements
Required Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university (degree must be completed; transcripts required)
- At least five (5) years of documented experience providing cradle-to-grave Contract Specialist support to a federal government agency
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications to create, review, and maintain acquisition documentation
- Proven ability to interpret and apply FAR and other applicable procurement regulations
- Experience using government contract-writing software such as PRISM
- Familiarity with federal procurement systems and databases including FPDS and SAM.gov
- Experience independently managing acquisition documentation through required reviews and approvals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent analytical and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated ability to maintain operational security and report OPSEC concerns as required
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing or administering procurements involving law enforcement sensitive requirements
- Experience awarding or administering services contracts
- Experience awarding or administering IT hardware or software contracts
- Experience handling procurement-sensitive or otherwise secure information in a federal environment
