Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager who knows how to keep operations running smoothly, teams motivated, and materials moving on time?
We're lookingfor a hands-on, organized, and proactive Warehouse Manager to overseedaily warehouse operations in Baton Rouge, LA.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, improving efficiency, and taking ownership of a busy warehouse supporting commercial and multifamily construction projects.
The Role
In this role, you'll lead day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring materials are received, accurately tracked, staged, and delivered to job sites on schedule.You'll manage warehousestaff, coordinate with field crews, and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff, setting daily priorities and ensuring productivity.
- Oversee morningload-outs, verifying work orders, pick tickets, and material accuracy.
- Coordinate the staging and timely deliveryof materials for commercial and multifamily construction projects.
- Manage incomingshipments, ensuring accuratereceiving, labeling, and storage.
- Maintain accurateinventory records, conductweekly cycle counts,and monitor stock levels.
- Work closelywith operations leadership to coordinate materialreplenishment.
- Ensure warehouse safety procedures and company standardsare followed.
- Oversee facilitymaintenance, tools, equipment, and general warehouse organization.
- Build strongworking relationships with field crews and ensuresmooth daily operations.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in warehouse management or warehouse operations supervision.
- Experience managinginventory, receiving, shipping, and material distribution.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to organize, motivate, and support a team.
- Excellent attentionto detail, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Confidence using inventory management systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Experience in construction materials, building supplies, or commercial distribution is highly desirable.
- A hands-onapproach with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
