Kitchen Manager / Float

Reggio's Treehouse is looking for an experienced and energetic person who enjoys thinking outside the box to join our team as a Childcare Cook / Float.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to the menu and dietary restrictions
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the management team to plan and prepare new snacks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Assist in classrooms to cover ratios and lunch breaks
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Work experience in a licensed childcare facility or early childhood program
Preferred
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary restrictions
- Strong understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
