Bring your mechanical skills and diagnostic abilities to an awesome team in Castleton on Hudson, NY. You will work on a variety of heavy equipment (skids, trommels, trenchers, vac trucks...). Vermeer All Roads is searching for an experienced heavy equipment technician/mechanic to diagnose and repair Vermeer and related construction equipment. Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly pay: $25–$40 (based on experience)
- Production bonuses available
- Full-time schedule – no nights or weekends

Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions (hydraulics, hydrostatic, and electrical systems)
- Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
- Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
- Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
- Stay up to date on industry and technical advancements
- Communicate with the factory for technical assistance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting
- Welding experience required
- Ability to travel within assigned territory for field service
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
