TEACHER – ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – KINDERGARTEN AND FIRST GRADE
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, well-established private school who prides themselves on nurturing children and working closely with families. The Teacher will be responsible for providing a caring and nurturing environment for children in Kindergarten and First Grade.
Salary - $60,000-$90,000 per year, Depending on experience.
This is a 12-month program.
Benefits offered.
Hours – Monday-Thursday, 8:10am-4:10pm, Fridays is 1pm dismissal. Some overtime required as needed.
Responsibilities for the Elementary Teacher:
· Create and follow lesson plans
· Form and maintain relationships with staff and families
· Make use of basic knowledge of child development
· Complete other tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements for the Elementary Teacher:
· Master’s Degree in Education
· Must be NYS certified in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
· 3-5 years of teaching experience in Kindergarten or First Grade classroom
· Must have strong classroom management experience
· Must have a solid, literacy background for this age group
· Ensure environment is safe
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Highly motivated team player
· Ability to provide 2 references
