Job DescriptionDescription:
As a Medical Director and Physician for Access Medical Clinics (AMC), you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical care services within the long-term care facility. The Medical Director collaborates with administration, nursing leadership, and attending providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care consistent with federal and state regulations.
 
Compensation for this role will include a monthly stipend plus a pay per visit model.
Requirements:
Qualifications
<ul>
<li> MD or DO with active state medical license</li>
<li> Board certification in geriatric, family or internal medicine</li>
<li> Experience in geriatrics, post-acute, or long-term care</li>
<li> Knowledge of CMS and LTC regulatory requirements</li>
</ul>
 
Typical Time Commitment
<ul>
<li> 4 hours per month per facility for administrative duties</li>
<li> On-site presence expectations once weekly for rounding on acute care and long-term care patients. Approx. 2 hours per week.</li>
<li> Participation in QAPI and leadership meetings</li>
<li> Availability for consultation</li>
