Position Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care. You will assess patient needs, administer treatments and medications, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and advocate for patients. Your clinical expertise and critical thinking will directly support improved patient outcomes and enhance healthcare delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
  • Evaluate complex patient conditions, monitor pain levels, and document treatment responses.
  • Monitor vital signs and identify abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature.
  • Perform routine assessments to ensure patient health and well-being.
  • Connect patients with community resources for medication administration, self-care, and disease management.
  • Conduct medication reviews to identify side effects and drug interactions.
  • Administer mental health assessments to screen for depression and evaluate mood, behavior, and cognitive function.
  • Document patient medical history accurately in EMR systems.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment.


Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
    (Candidates with backgrounds limited to nursing homes, home health, LTACs, or skilled nursing facilities may not adapt well to the MinuteClinic environment.)
  • Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems; Epic experience preferred.


Education & Licensing

  • Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in a State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
