About the Role Construction Project Manager II

Join our team as a Project Manager II and take the lead on high-impact, complex projects from start to finish. You’ll drive success by managing budgets, timelines, and quality standards—while empowering your team through strategic delegation and leadership. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference on projects that matter.

Position Logistics

  • Primary Work Location: Headquarters | St Louis Park, MN
  • Work Environment: On-Site
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8 am - 5 pm
  • Work Type: Full Time (40 hours/week)

Position Responsibilities

The Project Manager II oversees the initiation, ongoing management, and completion of larger and more complex projects, ensuring comprehensive oversight of budget, schedule, and quality, with the authority to delegate significant tasks to team members.

Project Management

  • Lead project meetings and ensure alignment across all project phases.
  • Address and resolve complex project issues and conflicts.
  • Oversee complex project planning and integrate multiple project scopes.
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation for projects.
  • Implement and maintain advanced project management systems and tools.

Schedule, Budget, and Subcontractor Management

  • Manage detailed project budgets, procurement, and financial performance.
  • Conduct in-depth cost analysis and manage financial risks.
  • Review and approve cost change orders and manage financial aspects of the project.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance on projects.
  • Resolve major subcontractor issues and manage contractual disputes.

Closeout and Compliance

  • Direct the final project closeout process and ensure comprehensive client satisfaction.
  • Oversee project warranty processes and address post-construction issues.

Safety

  • Implement and enforce comprehensive safety plans.
  • Attend all required safety trainings and meetings.

Leadership

  • Mentor and develop the project management team.
  • Drive project team performance and foster leadership development.

We're Seeking Individuals Who Are:

  • Strong knowledge of construction logistics, plan, and shop drawing coordination, along with scope management
  • Proven ability to build partnerships and trust with internal/external partners
  • Proven ability to deliver presentations and negotiate effectively with clients and subcontractors.
  • Track record of ensuring accuracy and quality in complex project documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Advanced understanding of contractual, financial, schedule and risk mitigation elements of construction projects
  • Growing skills in estimating, budgeting, and pre-planning aspects of projects
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Microsoft Project
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Bluebeam and Procore

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred
