Hiring for PCA to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Looking to hire part-time and full time workers. Night and weekend shifts are in high demand. Shifts available seven days a week. Must be able to work a schedule that can change.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting and other activities of
- daily living.
- Completes and performs light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and changing bed
- linens.
- Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, re-positioning, and movement of clients.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, buying groceries, going on community outings.
- Observe, monitor, and record clients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes.
- Provides services specified in the Individual Support Plan (ISP) and Behavioral Support Plan (BSP). These are essential to the health and welfare of the person.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED Required
- Current Valid Driver’s License Required
- Current Car Insurance Required
- Certification or training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) desirable, but can be trained after hired
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Ability to Commute to Prattville, AL 36066 (Required)
Ability to Relocate to Prattville, AL 36066: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
