Description

Pinnacle Software Consulting Inc, (DBA PSCI-LIA) is seeking a Data Program Manager/Specialist in Baton Rouge, LA to orchestrate cyber response and mitigation projects for GOHSEP, ensuring coordinated delivery of complex, high-impact initiatives. The role demands strong leadership, resource management, and strategic planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define program vision, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with GOHSEP's cyber strategy.
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules using Microsoft Project and Teams task boards.
  • Establish risk management framework, perform regular assessments, and implement mitigation actions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams-including security engineers, analysts, and vendor partners-to meet critical milestones.
  • Track task completions, manage scope changes, and communicate status to executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, CISA).
  • Prepare weekly status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings highlighting progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and drive consensus on key decisions.
  • Champion continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying agile methodologies where beneficial.
  • Oversee project actions and plan for future tasks
  • Schedule and coordinate applicable resources as needed for task completions
  • Use Microsoft Teams' task boards and other tools for keeping track of project activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. PMP or PMI-ACP certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of project or program management experience delivering complex IT or cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and cross-agency resources.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, and emergency management operations.
  • Expertise with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Teams Planner, or Jira.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
