1st shift Decor Associate (203688)

Responsibilities:

• Cutting, fabricating and prepping raw materials
• Using table saw, nailers, routers, drills, glue sprayers and cut-off saws as needed for projects
• Sanding and prepping surfaces for paint and/or stain
• Applying laminates according to procedures and specifications
• Could also be assisting in the sewing, welding and finishing department
• Completing and maintaining all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.

General Information:

Hours: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday start time between 4:00am- 6:00am, working 10-12 hour shifts

Length: 8-week assignment- possibly longer

Pay: $18.00

• Carpentry experience is a must
• Knowledgeable with measurement skills (tape measure) "Knowledgeable with operating hand tools: DA Sander, hand drill, miter saw, skill saw, air tools, various drills, buffer, utility knife etc.
• Read basic shop drawings and apply necessary measurements
• Operate drill press, table saws, band saw, hand grinder, punch press, belt sander; as deemed necessary within the department.
• Calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Apply concepts of basic algebra.
• Lift 30- 50 pounds.
• Work independently and have a desire to learn new tasks or skills
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to change.
• Comfortable working on computers
