Bend, form and install all tubing on units.
Do tubing layout of unit in accordance with blueprints in shop packets.
Identify and install valves and / or devices on unit.
Some electrical knowledge needed.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform housekeeping and other duties as required

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting 50 lbs. (occasional), Standing (constant), Walking (frequently), Bending (frequently), Climbing (frequently), Crawling (occasional), Reaching (frequently), Grasping (frequently), Sitting (occasional), Connecting (frequently), Pulling (frequently), Reading Prints (frequently), Judgment (frequently).
Must understand and follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.  Must follow written and oral instructions.  Vision corrected to 20/20.  Handling equipment (frequently).
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
Manufacturing – Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), cold/heat (outdoor).  Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Tape measure, small hand tools, power tools and drills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess complete understanding of P&amp;ID on electrical drawings as applicable.  Use hand tools, electrical equipment and measuring tape.  Ability to maintain clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.
As a condition of employment, active participation in a Continuous Improvement Team is required.
The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not exclude other occasional work assignments necessitated by business reasons which may affect production/operations to some degree.

Tube Fitter - 2nd Shift

The Town of Canaan has a Full-Time (40 hours a week) opening at the Highway Department for an Equipment Operator/Laborer.  Duties include roadway maintenance, plowing, ditching, road repair and operation of heavy equipment.  This position may also help with sub-surface water/sewer lines and maintenance of town owned properties. 
Candidates must possess a valid CDL driver’s license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.  Candidates must have a positive attitude and the ability to work overtime during storms.  
 Benefits include vacation, personal, sick and holiday paid time off.  Health, dental and life insurance is offered at no cost to the employee for employee-only coverage.  Also included are boot and uniform allowances and participation in the NH Retirement System. 
Compensation starting at $21.50 and up to $24.50 depending on experience and certifications.
