POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, monitoring, and delivering multiple commercial construction projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements and client expectations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage multiple commercial construction projects from turnover through closeout.

· Develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.

· Lead kickoff meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

· Monitor project costs, profitability, labor, and forecasting.

· Review contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

· Coordinate procurement and long lead materials.

· Oversee field operations with Superintendents and Foremen.

· Maintain project schedules and develop recovery plans when needed.

· Conduct site visits and quality inspections.

· Manage project documentation and reporting.

· Coordinate commissioning, punch lists, and closeout activities.

· Build strong relationships with owners, contractors, architects, and vendors.

· Support billing, revenue forecasting, and financial reporting.

· Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· Bachelor’s degree and/or 4-5 years of CML-related experience preferred

· Equivalent industry experience may be considered.

· Five or more years of commercial construction project management experience.

· 6 months of field installation experience required

· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

· Knowledge of commercial construction practices and contract administration.

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

· Strong skills in Microsoft Suite of Software, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Sage 100 or similar accounting software

· Valid Driver’s License

· OSHA-30 certification

TRAVEL

Regular travel throughout Tennessee and surrounding areas with occasional overnight travel as business needs require to various locations throughout the US.


WORK ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS

· This role works in a combination of office, project field office, client-facing, and active construction job site environment, with frequent interaction with Project Management, Field Operations, Engineering, clients, general contractors, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

· Job site visits may include exposure to active construction conditions, moving equipment, noise, dust, uneven walking surfaces, ladders, stairs, outdoor weather conditions, secured or detention/correctional environments, and other site-specific conditions.

· This role is expected to follow all company, client, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements, including required reporting and the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).

· This role requires regular travel to project locations and may require work outside of normal business hours based on project needs, client meetings, deadlines, inspections, or field conditions.

· Physical demands may include prolonged periods of sitting and computer work, standing, walking job sites, climbing stairs or ladders as needed, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting or carrying project-related materials.
