Job Overview
Our personal care home in Pittsburgh's North Hills has an immediate opening for a compassionate Resident Care Aide to join our team in a full-time role for the evening shift (3 to 11 p.m.). There will be opportunities to pick up additional shifts at times.

Come make a difference in the lives of our senior Residents by assisting them with the essentials of daily living and providing an enriching, caring environment for them during the evening period. Some experience in a senior care environment is required. Must have Direct Care Staff Training Certificate.

Duties
As a Resident Aide, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and support to Residents in daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Helping Residents with mobility and lifting when necessary to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Engaging Residents in social activities and promoting social interaction among peers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe living environment for all Residents.
• Documenting Resident care and reporting any changes in health or behavior to the supervising staff.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual Resident needs.

Experience
Preferred qualifications for the Resident Aide position include:

• Experience in a long-term care setting such as a retirement home or assisted living facility.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Residents, families, and team members.
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to enhance the lives of those you serve.
