An employee-owned engineering and technical services firm that has been delivering industrial automation, controls, and consulting solutions since 2015 is looking for an automation & controls professional with leadership experience. With a presence across the West Coast, the team is known for its authentic, partnership-driven approach and commitment to delivering high-quality, honest solutions to clients.

Summary:
As a Regional Business Manager you will lead office operations, business development, and financial performance. This leadership role balances strategy and execution—driving growth, ensuring successful project delivery, and developing a strong, high-performing team. You will report to the President and work closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development efforts, build client relationships, and lead proposals, scoping, and estimation
  • Oversee project execution to ensure successful delivery, quality, and client satisfaction
  • Provide technical leadership in automation, controls, and system architecture
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members while supporting recruiting and retention efforts
  • Manage regional P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Develop and execute business plans aligned with the firm's growth strategy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 10–15 years of automation/engineering experience, preferably in a consulting environment
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with P&L responsibility
  • Strong technical background in industrial controls, PLC/HMI, or SCADA systems
  • Proven success in business development and client relationship management
  • Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive operational excellence
