Banyan Living, a leader in luxury apartment management, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. We operate several properties throughout the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas, providing exceptional living experiences for our residents.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition and safety of our apartment communities. Your technical skills and customer service orientation will ensure that our residents enjoy a comfortable and well-maintained living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments, common areas, and building structures.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from residents.
- Conduct inspections to identify necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new tenants.
- Maintain the grounds, including landscaping and snow removal, as needed.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations while performing maintenance duties.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential setting.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Willingness to be on-call for emergencies as needed.
