The Opportunity:
Lifting Solutions is growing and in need of an Artificial Lift focused Applications Specialist. In this role, you will exceed client expectations by providing responsive, timely, and accurate rod designs, quotes and presentations of Lifting Solutions’ products and services as well as providing support to regional operations. This is a remote position, preferably based in Houston, TX; however, candidates located in Midland/Odessa may also be considered. Periodic travel may be required to attend meetings, industry events, or to support customer needs.
Responsibilities:
This is an integral role in which you will be working collaboratively with our team to support the creation of growth plans, proposals, tenders, quotations, and order execution for the domestic market to support aggressive growth. To guarantee success, you will have a strong technical background, communication skills and a passion for client service.
In alignment with the Lifting Solutions culture, mission, vision, and values, you will also be responsible for:
- Develop a strong understanding of our products, services, and systems as well as technical specifications through self-learning, active coaching, and support from subject matter experts.
- Manage and maintain digital databases, records, and information in compliance with company standards.
- Identify and assist with implementation of improvements to internal processes and/or procedures.
- Collaborate with regional teams, account leads, and marketing to develop technically sound plans, cost estimates, proposals, and responses to client inquiries.
- Engage with clients to accurately assess their needs and expectations, delivering tailored solutions within agreed timelines.
- Ability to learn and utilize industry standardized software such as Rodstar and SROD to provide custom downhole solutions to meet client needs.
- Maintain flexibility to work beyond standard hours when necessary to ensure timely responses to client needs.
- Maintain accountability for tasks and deadlines through excellent time management and self-directed work practices.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements:
Your Qualifications and Experience
This position requires the below minimum qualifications -
- Undergraduate degree or diploma acquired from a Technical/Commerce program is preferred but not required.
- Prior oil and gas experience, preferably in production and/or artificial lift
- Client and Team centric orientation and disposition
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outgoing personality that enjoys working with a team
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- SROD and Rodstar experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of database driven software and interfaces
- Strong data/information management skills and analytical capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills, detail, and deadline oriented.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to thrive independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Houston is preferred base location, however Midland/Odessa candidates may also be considered. Periodic travel may also be required.
