This position is responsible for closing the sales and/or leasing of homes by meeting with prospective buyers, entering leads into the prospect tracking system, showing inventory homes, submitting new applications for approval, and taking the necessary steps to facilitate closings on deals in progress. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for marketing and keeping up the presentation of the homes while managing applications and home closings. Your correspondence with prospects will include phone calls, e-mail and social media, and physical delivery of flyers and promotions to residents. This will include physically walking (or in golf cart) around the property with potential future residents and providing tours. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of basic sales tactics and operations. Strong negotiation skills required: Able to anticipate and respond to customers. Must have exceptional listening skills to understand the customers’ requirements and needs. Able to relate with others across functional business units to build relationships. Self-Motivated with excellent people skills. Able to quickly recover from disappointment. Ability to perform and multi-task general maintenance duties with minimal supervision. Self-motivated, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision. Computer Skills including Microsoft Office software products Able to work some Saturdays. Fluent in Spanish and English is a must.
Education and Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience; preferably in real estate. High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and online advertising and marketing platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, Zillow, and MH Village. Must be Bilingual (Spanish)
