Engineering Manager | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $114,000 - $163,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers.
- Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, from design to implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes, quality, and efficiency.
- Manage engineering budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D teams.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to support production goals and innovation.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven 5+ years of engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Expertise in manufacturing processes, automation, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience implementing Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI/ML, advanced robotics)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- PMP Certification
