About the role:
We are seeking a Head of HR to lead all people, recruiting, and welfare functions across our globally distributed, remote-first team. As the first HR leader in the company, you'll have the opportunity to shape our culture and processes, get your hands dirty in the full range of HR responsibilities, and contribute at a strategic level to the direction of the company. We're about to grow fast and have big plans, so this is an amazing opportunity to hop on board and have an impact.
In this role, you will:
- Shape a strong company culture that connects our team across the globe.
- Lead recruiting efforts to help us build a world-class team.
- Work closely with Founders, leadership, and managers on strategic people challenges and opportunities.
- Develop processes, policies, and other HR capacities that will scale along with our team.
- Build and oversee an HR team to support our growth.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in the world of HR, with a strong preference for leadership/executive-level experience
- Experience building from scratch in a fast-growing startup environment (under 100 employees)
- Experience working in a global, distributed organization
- Management experience, including building and growing a team
- Experience in both HR and recruiting, either as a manager or hands-on
- High level of fluency in written and spoken English
