Job DescriptionRacquets Professional (Tennis & Pickleball) – Part-Time
Are you passionate about tennis, pickleball, and creating great experiences for others? We are looking for a friendly, energetic Racquets Professional to join our team and become an important part of our club community. This role blends high-quality instruction with meaningful member interaction in a welcoming, professional environment.
What You’ll DoInstruction & Programming

Share your love of Tennis and Pickleball by delivering engaging private and group lessons for juniors and adults

Help bring our racquets community to life through clinics, camps, leagues, socials, and special events

Design thoughtful, fun, and effective lesson plans that meet players where they are

Provide skill assessments and personalized feedback to support each member’s growth

Encourage participation in racquets programs while building lasting member relationships
Pro Shop & Member Services

Create a warm first impression as a welcoming presence in the pro shop

Assist members and guests with care, professionalism, and attention to detail

Manage POS transactions, lesson scheduling, and program registrations

Keep the pro shop organized, polished, and inviting

Support merchandise presentation, inventory, and restocking

Handle calls, emails, and racquets-related inquiries with courtesy and discretion
Team & Club Culture

Collaborate closely with the Director of Racquets and fellow professionals to support the vision of the program

Assist with daily court setup and readiness so every experience runs smoothly

Communicate openly and proactively about lessons, programs, and member needs

Uphold club policies, safety standards, and service expectations
-
Represent the club with positivity, professionalism, and pride
What We’re Looking For

Teaching and playing experience in Tennis and Pickleball

A welcoming personality and genuine passion for member service
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and confidently during pro shop hours

Comfort using basic technology and POS systems
-
Teaching certifications (USPTA, PTR, PPR, USTA, or similar) preferred or willingness to obtain

CPR/AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Schedule & Availability

Part-time role with flexible scheduling

Mix of teaching hours and pro shop shifts

Schedule developed collaboratively with the Director of Racquets
