Job Description Warehouse Associate Location: Lewisville, TX
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM or 1:00 PM–8:00 PM
VIP Staffing is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate for our client in Lewisville, TX. This position will assist with receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and general warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming shipments
- Verify incoming products and enter receipts into the computer system
- Stock and organize materials in designated warehouse locations
- Pick, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment
- Build and wrap pallets for outgoing orders
- Replenish cartons and materials for the packing department
- Assist with loading trucks
- Prepare shipping paperwork and delivery records
- Inspect returned materials and return inventory to the proper location
- Maintain organized warehouse, storage, and shipping areas
- Assemble or disassemble bins, racks, shelving, and tables as needed
- Assist with inventory and quality inspections
- Maintain counter stock and assist with counter sales when needed
- Follow all warehouse and equipment safety procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or material handling preferred
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift
- Able to work safely around warehouse equipment
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the scheduled shift
This is a hands-on warehouse position ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has experience with general warehouse, shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment duties.
