Create and deliver fun and escapism in guest services. Provide excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Maintain safe and clean areas around our Fins Water Park entrance, indoors and outdoors, and the Fins Reception desk.

Summary: This position welcomes guests with a warm, friendly smile and greeting, attends to guests' needs, provides towels and directions, makes recommendations of activities happening in the Hotel and Resort, and provides overviews of the Fin Water Park guest rules.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The core purpose is to create and deliver fun and escapism. The receptionist values "Every Guest, Every Time." Fosters a shared responsibility for the well-being of our staff, guests, and community. Acts with integrity and respect, believing " It's My Job to be Better than the Best." The following duties are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Welcoming all guests and visitors to the water park and ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Provides essential instructions and/or directions on the safe use and rules of the Fins Water Park.
  • Provide clean towels and clear used towels, debris, and trash in the reception area.
  • Ensures the reception desk and waiting area are clean, neat, organized, and debris-free.
  • Enforcing safety protocols as set out by the waterpark and hotel.
  • Monitoring the activity of guests to ensure a safe and fun environment.
  • Reports all incidents and accidents or damage to the supervisor and or management.

  • Professional appearance, pleasant demeanor, courteous verbal communication, and customer service skills.
  • Problem-solving matters quickly and accurately, dealing with upset guests/customers.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 6 months of related work experience.
