Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Contract Temporary Merchandiser to support product delivery and in-store merchandising execution across retail accounts. This role partners directly with a full-time Order Replenishment Merchandiser (ORM) to ensure efficient unloading, stocking, display execution, and inventory rotation.
This is a field-based role requiring flexibility in work conditions and strict adherence to site access protocols.
Key Responsibilities
• Delivery Support: Assist the Order Replenishment Merchandiser (ORM) with unloading, staging, and transporting product into retail locations.
• Merchandising Execution: Stock shelves, build displays, rotate product using FIFO methodology, and maintain planogram standards.
• Display Maintenance: Ensure promotional displays and shelf sets are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Inventory Support: Follow ORM direction to maintain proper product levels and maximize sales opportunities.
• Retail Collaboration: Maintain professional working relationships with store management and personnel.
• Access Compliance: Strictly adhere to site entry policies. Contractor may not enter retail locations without a full-time company employee present.
• Safety & Efficiency: Follow safe lifting practices and work efficiently in fast-paced retail environments.
Physical Requirements
• Frequent lifting, bending, and carrying of product
• Repetitive stocking and shelf organization
• Ability to unload product from delivery vehicles
• Extended standing and walking throughout shift
Qualifications
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction
• Ability to work in various retail environments
• Previous merchandising, stocking, or warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday consistently
